Apple to launch cheaper Apple TV to compete with Amazon Fire TV Stick

Apple is giving another refresh to its 4K TV, with a top analyst predicting a cheaper model in the second half of 2022. However, it is not clear what the refreshed Apple 4K TV will look like
Ming-Chi Kuo, a reliable analyst at Apple, did not elaborate on the device, saying it would appear in the second half of 2022 and would improve the “cost structure.” It is possible that Apple will launch a smaller streaming stick following the trend set by Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K.
Apple refreshed its media streaming device with an update in April 2021. The device has got a faster processor and a new remote control design It is also possible that the new box will replace the Apple TV HD launched in 2015 The device currently retails for $ 149, compared to the Apple TV 4K’s starting price of $ 179.
It can be assumed that the refreshed Apple 4K TV will continue to support 4K resolution and all common Apple technologies, including beam content from a Mac or an iPhone, including AirPlay.
Kuo, however, mentioned Apple’s new focus on content and services in his tweets. It is possible that the new hardware that Apple will launch will be used to push the Apple TV Plus to more customers.
