Helicopter crash at Raipur Airport: A Chhattisgarh government helicopter crashed at Raipur Airport in Chhattisgarh on Thursday night, killing two pilots.
PTI Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Prashant Agarwal was quoted as saying that the accident took place at 9:10 pm during a flying exercise at Swami Vivekananda Airport in Raipur.
Informing about the accident, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel tweeted that both the pilots – still identified as Captain Panda and Captain Srivastava – had died in the accident.
He also expressed his condolences to the bereaved family.
