The total requirement for the superstructure in the temple alone is about 4.45 lakh CFT stones, ”the statement said.
Construction of the final superstructure will begin soon with the completion of the plinth phase.
After detailed technical discussions with the project monitoring consultant and the construction company, the design and drawing of the bottom plinth was finalized using final toppings under the ground plain cement concrete, granite stone layer, Mirzapur stone layer and granite stone. , It said.
Construction of the lower plinth will be undertaken by June 1, 2022.
According to the plan, the basic design and drawing of ‘Parakota’ is also in the final stage of technical verification and selection. Considering the safety and convenience of the pilgrims, various options are being explored.
Another important work is the work related to the Pilgrimage Facilitation Center. The wider variants of the center are being finalized with the understanding that it will provide a modular addition to the growing number of pilgrims. Accordingly, utility services have been planned within the complex, the statement said.
The temple of Lord Rama will be opened to the public by December 2023.
