Covid-19: 63 new cases, 4 more deaths in Delhi; Positivity rate 2.77%

A total of 673 new cases of covid and four more deaths were recorded in Delhi on Saturday, with a positive rate of 2.77 per cent, according to data shared by the health department here.
Four deaths were reported in the city on Friday, the highest number of one-day deaths in two months.
Delhi recorded three deaths of covid on March 7 and four deaths due to the disease on March 4.
The city recorded 899 COVID-19 cases with a positivity rate of 3.34 percent on Friday.
On Thursday, 1,032 fresh COVID-19 cases and zero deaths were recorded in Delhi, with a positive rate of 3.64 per cent.
As many as 673 new cases were reported on Saturday, bringing the total number of covid in the national capital to 18,99,745 and the death toll to 26,192.
According to the latest health bulletin, a total of 24,317 tests were performed a day earlier.
The number of daily COVID-19 cases in Delhi reached a record high of 28,867 on January 13 this year during the third wave of the epidemic.
The city recorded a positive rate of 30.6 percent on January 14, the highest during the third wave of the epidemic, largely due to the highly contagious omicron form of the coronavirus.
The number of patients under home isolation on Saturday was 3,122, the bulletin said, with 3,936 active cases.
The Delhi hospital has 9,581 beds for COVID-19 patients and 154 (1.6 per cent) of them, it said.
As of Saturday, the number of containment zones stood at 1,706, according to the bulletin.
