Indian Railways marks 50 years of Mumbai-New Delhi Rajdhani Express train
Indian Railways is celebrating the golden jubilee of Mumbai-Delhi Rajdhani Express! In 2019, Haor-New Delhi Capital turns 50 years old. On the occasion of Golden Jubilee, Kolkata Rajdhani passengers have received greetings via SMS. Indian Railways welcomed the train with brand new linen and disposable napkins, wishing them a happy 50th anniversary. There is also a cake cutting ceremony. Employees of Indian Railways stationed in the capital were given a special badge to wear. Moreover, on the video wall of the railway station, greetings were displayed on the train’s destination board and the station as well as the train was communicated through the public address system.
