Navi appointed Vidit Atre as an independent director
IPO-bound Navi Technologies Limited (Navi) has appointed Vidit Atre as an independent director on its board of directors. Effective April 9, 2022, subject to formalities, the appointment is consistent with Navi’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its board, recently appointing three more independent directors, Abhijit Bose, Sripad Nadkarni and Usha Narayanan.

Narayanan, who is already a member of the Navi Group as an independent director for other group firms such as Navi Finserv Limited, Navi General Insurance Limited and Chaitanya India Fin Credit Pvt Ltd, has more than two decades of accounts with Lovelock & Lewis Chartered. , Where he was a partner for 15 years. He is also a former independent director on the board of directors of Bank of Baroda. He is a Chartered Accountant (ICAI) and a Qualified Company Secretary (ICSI).
With this appointment, the Naval Board, which now consists of seven members, will be represented by a majority of independent directors. Other board members include Navir promoter and co-founder Sachin Bhansal, co-founder Ankit Agarwal and former Reserve Bank of India deputy governor Anand Sinha.
