Prime Minister Modi has met UP ministers, emphasizing on good governance

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday night met ministers of the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh, urging them to spend maximum time in their areas, emphasizing on good governance.
The meeting was held at the Chief Minister’s residence.
A senior leader present at the meeting said on condition of anonymity that the prime minister had instructed them to spend maximum time in their areas.
Although the details of the meeting were not officially announced, he said the prime minister also shared his views on good governance and how to improve the performance of the government.
The Prime Minister asked the ministers to ensure that the benefits of government projects reach the common man, he said.
The leader said that Modi had emphasized that all ministers should show dedication to public service.
The Prime Minister seems to be satisfied with the law and order situation in the state and congratulates Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for this, he said.
Modi also posed for a group photo with the ministers, which was shared by the state information department.
In the photo, Prime Minister Modi is seen sitting between Deputy Chief Minister Keshab Prasad Maurya and Yogi Adityanath.
The Chief Minister also hosted a dinner in honor of the Prime Minister.
Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister visited the Mahaparinirvana temple in Kushinagar before reaching Lucknow. He also attended a function in Lumbini, Nepal on the occasion of Buddha Purnima.
The Prime Minister was received at Lucknow Airport by Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Adityanath.
