Alok Shah, a consumer analyst at Ambit Capital in India, said, “Brands associated with established names have a fair bit of value and it is very difficult to compete with them.”

“If there is an inorganic path for Reliance, they will be able to scale faster. But in order to compete with the big competitors, they have to get the right pricing and distribution.”
