Sanjeev Bajaj, Pawan Munjal, and Dinesh elected CII office bearers for 2022-23

The non-profit organization works through an advisory and consultative process to create and maintain a conducive environment for India’s development, partnership industry, government and civil society.

The newly formed National Council of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), a private trade association and advocacy group, has announced its new office bearers for the year 2022-23.

The trade body has appointed Sanjeev Bajaj, chairman and MD of Bajaj Finserv, as president; Pawan Munjal, Chairman and CEO, President-elect of Hero MotoCorp and R Dinesh, Executive Vice Chairman, Vice President for TVS Supply Chain Solutions 2022-23.

Bajaj, who has been associated with CII for several years at the state, regional and national levels, has replaced TV Narendran, CEO and MD, Tata Steel. Earlier, Bajaj was President-elect of 2021-22 and Chairman of the Western Region in 2019-20. He has led the CII National Committee on Insurance and Pensions and Fintech’s CII Taskforce.

Munjal served as President-elect of CII for 2022-23 and has been closely associated with CII for almost 30 years. He was chairman of the CII Northern Region from 1996-97 and has chaired several CII national committees, including on sports, environment and technology and innovation.

R Dinesh has been associated with CII for over 2 decades and will play the role of VP for 2022-23. He was the Chairman of CII South Region in 2018-19 and has held various positions in CII as Chairman of Logistics National Committee, CII Family Business Network India Chapter Council, CII Tamil Nadu State Council, CII Institute of Logistics Advisory Council.
