It’s official! The teaser for the much-anticipated debut movie ‘The Archives’ of Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Sridevi and Bonnie Kapoor’s youngest daughter Khushi Kapoor and Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda was released on Saturday. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, ‘The Archives’ is a Hindi adaptation of the world-famous comic book. Families from Gauri Khan to Amitabh Bachchan to Jahnbi Kapoor were happy with the announcement. Other members of this live-action musical are Yuvraj Menda, Dot, Vedang Raina and ‘Super 30’ star Mihir Ahuja.
While senior Bachchan praised the teaser with the shout of ‘son-rise’, the excited Gauri Khan was a proud mother as she praised her daughter Suhana Khan. Jahnavi Kapoor’s outburst was a symbol of sister’s affection!
So who is playing? Well, for starters, let’s take a look at the main cast – Suhana Khan in the role of Veronica Lodge where Khushi Kapoor will play the role of Betty Cooper. Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Agastya Nanda, son of businessman Nikhil Nanda will be seen in the lead roles of Archie Andrews.
The teaser also features a song that goes well with this musical’s Tiny-Bopper, Rome-Come Vibe. The movie ‘The Archies’ will be released on OTT platform Netflix.
With the launch of Agastya Nanda, Bollywood will see the third generation of the Bachchan family. Interestingly, there are several rumors in the film industry about the launch of Nanda’s sister Navya Naveli Nanda. But earlier this year, Navya made it clear that she would never join the town of Tinsel as an actor but would instead focus on becoming a businessman like her mother.
The other star kid in this trio is Suhana Khan, who is in the news from time to time. Khan is known as a man who spoke his mind despite heavy trolling. In 2020, he posted a ‘last color’ post after some netizens commented on his appearance.
Khushi Kapoor was a bit away from the limelight as her elder sister Jahnavi Kapoor has always been the focus of attention.
