On a stormy Sunday, when half of India was suffering from intense heatwaves and the other half was suffering from cautious rain, about 4,000 km away, a tough 20-year-old badminton champion strengthened India’s entry into the elite club. The Thomas and Uber Cup 2022 is coming up. In addition to Sen’s stellar performance, Kidambi Srikkanth’s stunning form was straight out of the dream. Srikanth has won all the six matches he has played. India’s surprise on Sunday after the winning team defeated the world’s best badminton team by destroying three powerhouses – Malaysia, Denmark and Indonesia – in the most prestigious badminton event, the Thomas and Uber Cup.
