Top 10 best selling cars in India released

Indeed, looking at the top 10 best-selling cars for the month of April 2022, the share of SUVs on the list has risen to 48 percent. A total of 123,909 units made up for the top 10 best-selling vehicles, including 59,172 SUVs, followed by 39,147 hatchbacks (31.5% market share).

Maruti Suzuki India continues to dominate the list with seven models named after it. The Wagon R (17,766 units) hatchback was the best-selling car in the country.

The Ertiga SUV was the second best-selling car on the list with 14,889 units

The best selling model for Tata Motors’ Nexon company and 3^rd The most popular model and the best-selling SUV on the list. By selling 13,471 units, Nexon has helped the company achieve smart gains in overall market share.

At No. 4, the Creta SUV continues to be its best-seller for Hyundai Motor India with 12,651 units sold.

With 11,764 units sold, Maruti Vitara Brezza, at No. 5 on the list, has maintained its presence on the list. With sales of 11,154 units closely followed by Eeco.

The Baleno hatchback ranks 7th with sales of 10,938 units; Following the Desire sedan closer to 10,701 units, it is the only car in its segment featured on the list. Once the most popular car, the Alto hatchback came in 9A^M Rank with sales of 10,443 units.

Another amazing entry on the list is the Punch Micro-SUV selling 10,132 units at No. 10 position. Launched in October 2021, the company’s high features are the first SUV based on the ALFA architecture.
